Great Heating Solutions for Commercial Settings

The GeoSource Commercial Heat Pumps are ideal for any church, school, bank and other community and office buildings. Two Minnesota schools where our commercial line is used are Otsego and Onamia. Onamia is an 80,000 sq.ft. school with a system designed to extract 1.75 million BTU's in the heating mode with 230 tons of cooling capacity.

The 25° design point works as well in our commercial line as it does in the domestic GeoSource Heat Pumps. Tandem Scroll Compressors, which are used in our commercial line, are consistent with the fine quality and craftsmanship that people have grown to expect from ECONAR.

How does it work?

The 25° design point is the reason for the increased heating ability. The heat pump is designed to extract energy at 25° F loop temperatures while competitors' standard high-efficiency geothermal heat pumps need a higher loop temperature. The benefit to the consumer is output temperatures of 5° to 10° warmer than competitive systems. In addition, our GeoSource Commercial heat pump line allows for reduced earth loop requirements minimizing loop field area and cost.
