ECONAR® GeoSystems® - Commercial Case Study
Holy Cross Lutheran Church - Maple Lake, Minnesota

Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Maple Lake, MN is enjoying their state of the art heating and cooling system. Their ECONAR GeoSource Heat Pumps efficiently heat the church in the winter without drawing any humidity out of the air, along with cooling and dehumidifying throughout the warm, muggy summer. Holy Cross Lutheran Church has a horizontal slinky loop of polyethylene pipe buried beneath their parking lot, and when it gets to –50° below zero their parking lot keeps them warm and toasty.

Geo$ense

Although the initial cost of the GeoSource heat pumps were greater than that of conventional gas or electric systems, the annual operating costs are much lower than all types of traditional heating systems. In addition, cooling costs can be 30%-50% less than the cost of cooling with an average central air conditioning system.
