GeoSource^® GTF^™

GTF is an antifreeze for use in ECONAR's ColdClimate GeoSource heat pump systems. It is designed to be used in horizontal closed loop heat pump installations. The GTF is capable of operating with entering water temperatures of 25°F or less in the heating mode.

When dealing with entering water temperatures of this stature, the leaving water temperature will be lower. So we recommend a 50% GTF and water solution to 10° F. GTF is a methanol based antifreeze. It's designed with excellent viscosity properties, allowing for fluid movement even when the temperature dips to 10° F. The heat transfer properties of GTF are excellent compatible with the pipe fittings used in heat pump installations.
