GeoSource^® GTF^™

GTF is an antifreeze for use in ECONAR's ColdClimate™ GeoSource heat pump systems. It is designed to be used in horizontal closed loop heat pump installations. The GTF is capable of operating with entering water temperatures of 25°F or less in the heating mode.

When dealing with entering water temperatures of this stature, the leaving water temperature will be lower. So we recommend a 50% GTF and water solution to 10° F. GTF is a methanol based antifreeze. It's designed with excellent viscosity properties, allowing for fluid movement even when the temperature dips to 10° F. The heat transfer properties of GTF are excellent compatible with the pipe fittings used in heat pump installations.
